Daily Planing

All Lagos Surf Safaris daily lessons have pick ups between the hours of 8am and 9am. Pickups are around the area of Lagos but can be arranged for Burgau, Praia da Luz and the surrounding areas. Our Meeting Points are in Cafe da Trindade, Spar and our Hostel Banana Beach

After we apply our super strong sunscreen.
A short introduction of how the day will be laid out will be made upon arrival at the beach by
your instructor. Surf Boards, wetsuits, lunch packs and the rest of the kit will be handed out at this point andstudents will be instructed on board and wetsuit care and how to safely use the equipment.

After a short warm up in the form of stretching and interactive games, our instructors will give
a short theory lesson with demonstrations on how you will achieve your goal of surfing. With
different classes for different levels. You will accomplish an in depth practical lesson on the
beach with examples and practice. The instructors also explain the hazards of the beach andwill give an insight into beach safety and proper surf etiquette.Then into the ocean, your instructor will be in the water with you guiding you every step ofthe way.

Our surf trips include transportation, surfboard and wetsuit hire, lessons from beginners to advanced with credited instructors, sports insurance and a lunch pack. 

A brief warm up and stretching is followed by a Q and A on the first lesson.Here you can answer questions and get more practical insight into what, why and when. Your instructor will give you goals to achieve during the second lesson based on your development in the first. It is very common forall beginners to achieve:

● A knowledge of how to catch a wave
● When to stand up.
● How to stand up
● How to safely dismount th board at the end of the wave
● Board management in the water
● A basic knowledge of Surf etiquette

Happy, tired and sun tanned you will head back to the van to hand in your gear and get
changed. 9 times out of ten the only person still awake in the van is the instructor driving you
home. So you can enjoy a much deserved nap.
